DescriptionThe DRV8811 device provides an integrated stepper
motor driver solution for printers, scanners, and other
automated equipment applications. The device has
two H-bridge drivers, as well as microstepping
indexer logicto controla stepper motor.
The output driver block consistsof N-channel power
MOSFETs configured as full H-bridgesto drive the
motor windings. simple STEP-and-DIR interface allows easy
interfacingto controller circuits. Step mode pins allow
for configurationof the motorin full-step, half-step,
quarter-step,or eighth-step modes. Decay mode and
PWM off-time are programmable.
Internal shutdown functions are provided for
overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection,
undervoltage lockout and overtemperature.
The DRV8811 deviceis packagedina PowerPAD™
28-pin HTSSOP package with thermal pad.
