® IVC102 PRECISION SWITCHED INTEGRATOR TRANSIMPEDANCE AMPLIFIER DESCRIPTION APPLICATIONS The IVC102 is a precision integrating amplifier withl PRECISION LOW CURRENT MEASUREMENT FET op amp, integrating capacitors, and low leakage l PHOTODIODE MEASUREMENTS FET switches. It integrates low-level input current for l IONIZATION CHAMBER MEASUREMENTS a user-determined period, storing the resulting voltage l CURRENT/CHARGE-OUTPUT SENSORS on the integrating capacitor. The output voltage can be held for accurate measurement. The IVC102 providesl LEAKAGE CURRENT MEASUREMENT a precision, lower noise alternative to conventional transimpedance op amp circuits that require a very high value feedback resistor. FEATURES The IVC102 is ideal for amplifying low-level sensor l ON-CHIP INTEGRATING CAPACITORS currents from photodiodes and ionization chambers. l GAIN PROGRAMMED BY TIMING The input signal current can be positive or negative. l LOW INPUT BIAS CURRENT: 750fA max TTL/CMOS-compatible timing inputs control the inte- gration period, hold and reset functions to set thel LOW NOISE effective transimpedance gain and to reset (discharge) l LOW SWITCH CHARGE INJECTION the integrator capacitor. l FAST PULSE INTEGRATION Package options include 14-Pin plastic DIP and SO-14 l LOW NONLINEARITY: 0.005% typ surface-mount packages.
