TheL293Cisa monolithichigh voltage,high current
integratedcircuit four channel driverina 20pin DIP.is designedto accept standard TTLor DTL input
logic levels and drive inductive loads (suchas re-
lays, solenoids, DC and stepping motors) and
switching power transistors.
The device may easilybe usedasa dual H-bridge
driver: separatechipenable and highvoltagepower
supplypinsare providedfor each H-bridge.In addi-
tion,a separate power supplyis provided for the
logic sectionof the device.
