Single-Phase Energy Measurement IC with 8052 MCU, RTC, and LCD Driver The ADE7166ASTZF16 is a highly integrated, single-phase energy metering IC manufactured by Analog Devices (ADI). It is designed for use in single-phase electricity meters and features a high-performance analog front end (AFE) with a 24-bit sigma-delta ADC, a 32-bit computation engine, and a 16-bit microcontroller. The device supports active, reactive, and apparent energy measurements, as well as voltage and current RMS calculations. It operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and is available in a 16-lead TSSOP package. The ADE7166ASTZF16 also includes features such as tamper detection, temperature measurement, and a real-time clock (RTC) for time-of-use (TOU) billing applications.
